Administration
During the process of construction, the administration of the contract as a controlled process is essential. Butterworth Associates and Design Limited pride themselves on the abilities of their staff to administer the construction process and the payment schedule in a fully documented and recorded fashion. We understand that the money that is changing hands during a building contract is not our own! Our staff have a well deserved reputation for the thoroughness and meticulous record keeping so essential to budget control. Project administration can be offered to clients as a separate service if required.
Independent evaluations of a building contract can be provided for a lending institution such as a bank or a mortgage company before it finalises the conditions of a loan. In certain circumstances Butterworth Associates and Design Limited will review work by others for Building Code compliance prior to submission for approval from The Department of Planning.
Evaluation and verification of construction progress and payments can be a real concern on some projects. Butterworth Associates and Design Limited can perform this work on behalf of the lending body as an independent check or as a service throughout the life of the contract.
Independent review of the quality of work can also be provided in instances where construction has commenced without professional supervision. Butterworth Associates and Design Limited’s experienced and professional administration team can save the owner considerable funds by avoiding the need to modify non-compliant work after it has been built. Butterworth Associates and Design Limited, in undertaking this type of review, will not accept any liability for the original design or specification.
